We love Michael Buble's sexy crooning. Here's how he evolved to a star.

    Buble self-released his first recordings, including this EP, First Dance, in 1995.
  •  
    Babalu was Michael Buble's first full-length album - which he released in 2001. The title refers to a Vancouver nightclub where he used to perform before becoming well-known.
  •  
    Buble was ready to change careers at age 25, and become a journalist, before he got his big break. He appeared in the movie, Duets, in 2000, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis.

    Buble has appeared in three other films so far: Totally Blonde, The Snow Walker, and Death Game (tv only) and has been on the soundtrack of 77 shows and movies including Spider-Man 2, Malcolm in the Middle, and 27 Dresses. Here he is at the premiere for Totally Blonde in 2001.

    David Foster (who's produced albums by Madonna, Mariah Carey, Bryan Adams, Michael Jackson, and more...) signed Michael Buble to the 143 record label in 2000, and in 2001 Buble started recording his self-titled album with Foster as producer. It was finally released in 2003.
